Transmission Companies hold a concession to transmit electricity from the generator’s supply point to the distributor’s reception point. In Argentina, the transmission business is subdivided into two systems: the high voltage electricity transmission system that operates at 500 KV and transmits electricity among different regions, and the trunk distribution system that provides a public service and operates as a monopoly at 132/220 kV, connecting generators, distributors, and large users within the same region.
