In order to prevent accidents in the dam areas of San Rafael in the Province of Mendoza during the summer season, starting in 2006 the Accident Prevention Campaign has been implemented every year in the following strategic spots –which are visited by a huge number of tourists-: Valle Grande, Nihuil I and Los Reyunos, where our plants install information points. Thanks to the agreements executed with the Province’s General School Directorate, interns coming from three State-

run rural schools in the area of influence of the plants and specially trained for this task advise visitors on various subjects.
The above proposal is supplemented by “Cleaning Campaigns” as part of our endeavors to foster care for the environment. These campaigns consist in collecting the waste left behind by the tourists who visit the facilities at Nihuiles and Diamante.
This Program is estimated to inform approximately 80,000 people each year.
