Edenorchicos encompasses a number of activities targeted at the youngest kids and carried out by Edenor’s External Relations Department in the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility policies.
Edenor’s educational programs are a part of a policy of long-term commitment to the community: its programs have been implemented for more than 10 years now.
For the aim of ingraining how important it is to use energy rationally, to care for the environment and to move safely at home and in the street, into children’s minds already in their first years of life, in 2008 the Company continued to carry out a succession of educational activities for students in primary schools located within the area covered by the concession in a coordinated manner. The specific objectives were:
To strengthen the Company’s relationship with the community; to promote a responsible and committed attitude towards energy consumption; to develop an appreciation for the value of energy as an absolutely necessary resource for human development and to foster children’s curiosity as regards the world around them
